Help / Meetings and calls
Calls, texts, and the voice agent
Connect a phone number, call leads, and set up the agent that calls for you.
Calls lists every call with its outcome, length, and summary. From a lead, Call offers two ways to talk to them:
- Connect me rings your phone first, then the lead. Works with any connected phone provider.
- Neugent calls is available when a voice agent provider is connected. It introduces itself, answers only the questions you approved, asks your qualification questions, offers times, and books the meeting.
- Log a call on the Calls page or a lead records a call you made yourself: pick the person by name, say how it went, and it joins their timeline. The outcome is what you got: a meeting, interest, a callback, a gatekeeper, a referral to another number, voicemail, an answering machine, no answer, a wrong number, or a request not to be called. An outcome where nobody was reached moves a new lead to Attempted; reaching someone moves it to Contacted.
Set up voice
- 1Open Settings → Voice and connect your phone provider. This also lets Neugent send texts.
- 2Write the opening line, what calls are for, and the approved answers: the only things the agent may say about your business.
- 3Set calling hours, how many attempts to make, and whether calls are recorded. Recording reads a disclosure first.
Someone who asks not to be called is added to the do-not-call list and never called again. A missed call is tried again inside calling hours, and an unanswered inbound call becomes a task to call back.
